13 Days in Morocco: good to know
Go one way if you can
With 13 days, a route from Marrakech to Tangier – or the reverse – shows the whole country without driving any road twice.
Plan a quiet day after a big one
After the Toubkal summit or a night in the dunes, an easy day with a short drive keeps the second week as enjoyable as the first.
End by the ocean
Essaouira, Oualidia or Taghazout are a good place to finish: calm, close to an airport and a nice contrast with the desert.
Every day can change
All our routes are private. If one place does not interest you, we give its days to another – a second desert night, a trek or the beach.
13 Days in Morocco: questions travellers ask
Is 13 days in Morocco too long?
No – it is a very comfortable length. You can see the Sahara, the imperial cities and the mountains, and still have a few calm days on the coast or in the Atlas.
What is the best 13 days Morocco itinerary?
For a first visit, a one-way route from Marrakech to Tangier through the kasbahs, the Sahara, Fes and Chefchaouen gives the most variety. If you land in Casablanca, a loop from there with a last night by the ocean works well.
How many days do you need in Morocco?
Five days is enough for one region, a week for the desert and one city, and 12 to 14 days for a full tour of the country at a relaxed pace.
Can I visit Morocco for 13 days from Spain?
Yes. Ferries cross from Tarifa to Tangier in about an hour, and a 13-day loop from Tangier can include Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara and Marrakech before you return to the port.
What can I do in Morocco in 13 days with kids?
Choose split drives and one big activity a day: a kasbah to explore, camels and sandboarding in Merzouga, monkeys in the cedar forest and river walks near Chefchaouen.
How much does a 13-day trip to Morocco cost?
Our trips are private and priced on request: the price depends on the number of travellers, the season, the hotels and the activities.
When is the best time for 13 days in Morocco?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) suit the desert, the cities and the mountains together. Summer is very hot in the Sahara; in winter the High Atlas has snow and desert nights are cold.
Are these 13-day tours private?
Yes. Every route on this page is a private tour for you and your travel companions, on the dates you choose.
