30 Days in Morocco: good to know
Plan a rest day every five or six days
A month on the road is tiring even when every day is beautiful. A free day in Fes, at the dunes or by the sea keeps the last week as good as the first.
Fly in and out of different cities
With 30 days you can arrive in Tangier or Casablanca and leave from Agadir or Marrakech. You never drive the same road twice.
Think about the seasons across regions
In one month you pass from the green Rif to the hot Sahara and the cool Atlantic. Spring and autumn suit all of them; in summer we move the desert days to the start or end of the season.
Private, and changeable on the way
Every trip on this page is a private tour on your dates. If you love a place, we can add a night there and take one away somewhere else.
30 Days in Morocco: questions travellers ask
Is a month in Morocco too long?
No. In 30 days you can see every region – the north, the imperial cities, the Sahara, the mountains and the coast – and still have rest days. Most travellers who come for a month say they would happily stay longer.
What is the best 1 month Morocco itinerary?
For a first long visit, a loop from Casablanca through Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, the gorges, the Anti-Atlas and the coast to Marrakech shows the whole country. If you come from Spain, a one-way route from Tangier to Agadir works best.
How much does a month in Morocco cost?
Our 30-day trips are private and priced on request. The price depends on the number of travellers, the season, the riads you choose and the activities. Tell us your dates and we send you a clear quote.
What can you see in 30 days in Morocco?
Chefchaouen and the Rif, Fes and Meknes, the Middle Atlas, the dunes of Merzouga, the Todra and Dades gorges, Aït Benhaddou, Marrakech, the High Atlas, Tafraoute, Legzira, Taghazout and Essaouira.
Do I need a visa to spend 30 days in Morocco?
Citizens of the EU, the UK, the US, Canada and many other countries can stay up to 90 days without a visa. Check the rules for your passport before you travel.
What is the best month for 4 weeks in Morocco?
March to May and late September to November are the best for a trip that combines the desert, the mountains and the coast. Summer is very hot inland, and winter brings snow to the Atlas and cold desert nights.
Is it a problem to travel during Ramadan?
No, but the rhythm changes: some cafés close during the day and evenings are lively after sunset. We adapt the plan and the meals, and many travellers enjoy the atmosphere.
Are these 30-day tours private?
Yes. Every itinerary on this page is a private tour on the dates you choose, and we change it to suit you.
