14 Days in Morocco: good to know
Fly into one city, out of another
Arriving in Marrakech and leaving from Fes or Casablanca – or the other way round – saves a whole day of driving back and gives you more time where it matters.
Two nights where it counts
Two weeks lets you stay two nights in Fes, Chefchaouen, the Atlas or by the ocean. Fewer hotel changes make the trip feel like a holiday, not a race.
Mix active and easy days
A hike or a camel ride on one day, a guided city or a free afternoon on the next: that rhythm keeps energy up for the whole fortnight.
Keep a rest day near the end
A free day in Marrakech or Essaouira before your flight is the best way to finish – for a hammam, a last souk visit or simply the pool.
14 Days in Morocco: questions travellers ask
Is 2 weeks in Morocco too much?
No – two weeks is one of the best lengths for Morocco. It lets you see the imperial cities, the Sahara, the High Atlas and the coast with two-night stops, instead of changing hotels every night. If you love one region, we can slow the pace even more.
What is the best 14 day Morocco itinerary?
For a first visit, a route from Marrakech over the Atlas to the Sahara, then north to Fes and Chefchaouen, ending in Casablanca, covers the most in one direction. If your flight is a return, the Casablanca loop with Essaouira is a good choice. Families and walkers have their own routes above.
How much does 2 weeks in Morocco cost?
Our 14-day trips are private and priced on request. The price depends on the number of travellers, the season, the riads and camps you choose and the activities. Tell us your dates and we send you a clear quote.
Is 2 weeks in Morocco good with kids?
Yes, if the stages are short. Our family route keeps most drives under four hours, stays two nights in several places and has a big activity every day – balloon, camels, mules, sandboarding and the monkeys of the cedar forest.
Can you do a 2 week Morocco itinerary without a car?
Yes. On our trips you travel with your own driver, so you do not need to drive or rent a car. Trains link Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Fes and Tangier, but the desert, the gorges and the mountains are much easier with a driver.
Can I combine 2 weeks in Morocco with Spain?
Yes – the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier takes about an hour. Our two week route from Tangier ends in Marrakech, where you can fly back to Spain; we can also plan it to end at the ferry.
What is the weather like for 14 days in Morocco?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are best for a trip that covers the whole country. Summer is very hot in the south and the Sahara but pleasant on the coast, and winter brings sunny days, cold desert nights and snow on the Atlas.
Are these 14-day tours private?
Yes. Every itinerary on this page is a private tour on the dates you choose, with your own driver, and we change any day to suit you.
