22 Days in Morocco: good to know
Three weeks is time to slow down
Twenty-two days covers three full weeks plus your travel days. Use it to stay two or three nights in your favourite places instead of adding more stops.
Keep one free day each week
A day without a programme – at the dunes, in Fes or by the ocean – keeps everyone fresh for the next adventure.
Mix the classics with quieter corners
After the Sahara, Fes and Marrakech, there is time for Imilchil, Al Hoceima, Taroudant or Tafraoute, which few tours reach.
Choose your airports first
Flying into Marrakech and out of Tangier, Fes or Agadir – or taking the ferry from Spain – shapes the route and saves days of driving.
22 Days in Morocco: questions travellers ask
Is 22 days enough to see Morocco?
Yes – it is enough to see every main region at a relaxed pace: the north, the imperial cities, the Sahara, the High Atlas and the coast, with rest days and a few quieter places too.
What is the best 3 weeks in Morocco itinerary?
For a first trip, travel one way from Marrakech to Tangier (or the reverse), with the coast, the High Atlas, the Sahara, Fes and Chefchaouen. If you want quieter places, add the central Atlas, Imilchil or the Anti-Atlas around Tafraoute.
How much does 3 weeks in Morocco cost?
Our trips are private and priced on request. The price depends on the number of travellers, the season, the comfort level of the riads and the activities. Send us your dates and we reply with a clear price.
Can I combine 3 weeks in Spain and Morocco?
Yes. The ferry from Tarifa or Algeciras to Tangier takes about an hour. If you split three weeks between the two countries, a 10 to 14 day route in Morocco from Tangier fits well; with the full three weeks in Morocco, our loop from Tangier brings you back to the ferry.
Is a 3 week Morocco itinerary good for families?
Yes, if the pace is slow: one activity a day, short drives, beach days and two nights at the dunes. Our family route keeps every drive under about five hours.
Where do 22 days Morocco tours from Casablanca go?
A typical loop goes north to Rabat and Chefchaouen, then Fes, the Sahara at Merzouga, the gorges, Marrakech and the High Atlas, and back up the Atlantic coast by Essaouira and Oualidia.
When is the best time for 3 weeks in Morocco?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) suit every region. Summer is very hot in the desert and the south, and in winter the High Atlas has snow and the desert nights are cold.
Are these 22-day tours private?
Yes. Every itinerary on this page is a private tour for you and your travel companions, on the dates you choose, and every day can be changed.
