Skydiving Morocco

Skydiving Morocco is not something you find on every street corner, and that is exactly why people ask us about it. Tandem jumps are run by a small number of licensed operators, often on a seasonal basis, so the date and place depend on who is jumping when you travel. We check what is really available for your dates and fit it into your trip, instead of selling a jump that may not happen.

A tandem skydive needs no experience. You are attached to a certified instructor who controls the freefall, opens the parachute and steers the landing. Your job is to listen to the briefing, keep the right body position and enjoy the view of Morocco from above. If a jump is not possible on your dates, we will tell you honestly and suggest another way to see the country from the air.

Why choose skydiving experience in Morocco

01

A rare adventure in Morocco

Few travellers know you can skydive in Morocco. It turns a classic trip of medinas and desert into something your friends will not expect.

02

No training course needed

With a tandem jump you only need a short briefing on the day. The instructor does the technical work.

03

Big landscapes below

Depending on the location, you may see coastline, farmland or the line of the Atlas on the horizon. Clear winter air often gives long views.

04

Honest planning

We only confirm a jump when a licensed operator has a slot for you. That saves you from building a trip around something that is not running.

05

Easy to combine

A jump day fits between city visits, a beach stay or a desert tour. We arrange the transport and plan your other days around it.

Who is skydiving in Morocco for?

Thrill seekers

If you have always wanted to jump, a tandem skydive in Morocco gives you a story with a different backdrop than the usual drop zones.

Birthday and bucket-list trips

Many people choose a jump to mark a big birthday or a milestone. Friends can jump on the same day if the operator has space.

Licensed skydivers

If you hold a licence and want to jump solo, tell us your licence and logbook details and we will ask whether an operator can accommodate you.

Not for everyone

Skydiving is not suitable during pregnancy, with some heart, back or neck problems, or above the operator’s weight limit. Be honest with us so we do not book something you cannot do.

Useful information for skydiving in Morocco

How a tandem jump works

You arrive, sign the operator’s forms, get a briefing and are fitted with a harness. You climb in a small aircraft, attached to your instructor, then leave the plane together. After the freefall the instructor opens the parachute and you glide down for several minutes before a guided landing.

Weight, age and health limits

Every operator sets its own rules. Tandem jumps usually have a maximum weight, a minimum age and health questions, and some ask for a medical form for older jumpers. Send us your age and weight when you ask, so we can check before you travel.

Weather days

Jumps need good visibility and moderate wind. Waiting at the drop zone is normal and a jump can move to another day. Plan the skydive early in your trip and keep a spare day if you can.

Photos and video

Many operators offer a handheld or outside camera option at an extra cost. For safety, you normally cannot take your own phone or camera on the jump.

Before you jump

Do not scuba dive in the 24 hours before a skydive, avoid alcohol the night before and eat a light meal. Tell the instructor if you feel unwell on the day.

Skydiving in Morocco: 10 questions

Can you go skydiving in Morocco?

Yes. Tandem skydiving is offered in Morocco by a small number of licensed operators, often on a seasonal basis. Tell us your travel dates and we will check what is available.

Is there skydiving in Marrakech?

Jumps are not always run near Marrakech, so we check the closest available operator for your dates. Marrakech is a good base, and we arrange the transfer if the jump takes place elsewhere.

Can you skydive in Agadir?

Many travellers look for jumps around Agadir and the Atlantic coast. Whether one is running depends on the operator’s season and schedule, so ask us before you plan around it.

What is the skydiving Morocco price?

The price depends on the operator, the season and whether you add photos or video. Send us your dates and we will send a quote on request.

Do I need experience for skydiving in Morocco?

Not for a tandem jump. You get a briefing on the day and the instructor controls the freefall, parachute and landing.

Can I jump solo with my skydiving licence in Morocco?

Possibly. Licensed skydivers need to show their licence and logbook, and the operator decides. We pass on your details and confirm before you travel.

What is the age and weight limit for skydiving?

Each operator sets its own limits. Most tandem jumps require you to be an adult and below a maximum body weight, and they may ask health questions. Tell us your age and weight when you enquire.

Is skydiving Morocco safe with a tandem instructor?

We only book with licensed operators using certified tandem instructors and proper equipment. Skydiving always carries risk, so follow the briefing and be honest on the health form.

How cold is it when skydiving?

It is much colder at jump altitude than on the ground, and the wind of freefall makes it feel colder still. Wear a long-sleeved layer; the operator provides a jumpsuit where needed.

Is there indoor skydiving in Morocco?

Indoor wind-tunnel flying is a different activity from a real jump. If that is what you are looking for, ask us and we will check current options for your trip.
