Why does this Morocco itinerary 10 days start in Casablanca?
Casablanca has the main international airport, and starting there lets the route run north to Chefchaouen and Fes before the desert, so you never drive the same road twice. We can also start in Marrakech and run it the other way round.
Which day is the longest drive on this Morocco itinerary 10 days?
Day 5, from Fes to Merzouga, takes about 8 to 9 hours with stops in the cedar forest, Midelt and the Ziz Valley. Day 3 is also full, with visits in Volubilis and Meknes on the way to Fes.
How many nights do we spend in the desert?
One night in a riad in Merzouga at the edge of the dunes and one night in a desert camp, reached by camel at sunset.
Is this 10-day tour private?
Yes. It is a private tour for you and your travel companions, with your own driver, on the dates you choose. Every day can be changed.
What is active on this itinerary?
